WORDS OF CHRIST.....

In our spare time please let us reflect on the following Words of Christ from Matthew chapter 7......

True and False Prophets
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the Will of my Father who is in Heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Now here are my thoughts on the above words.
1. Watch out for false prophets....we should be alert..we should not be gullible and  accept what someone says just because they call themselves prophets (or pastors). we should weigh and examine. watch out also means they are around us and they are usually the ones we think are not false...

2. Wolves in Sheep's clothing....This means they are okay and acceptable on the outside but inwardly they are far from good. In essence, we should not just accept someone because they look like sheep. we should ensure they are really sheep on the inside (by their activities)  and not ferocious wolves.
3.Christ expects one thing and one thing alone from us.....Do the WILL of His Father in Heaven.  if you like call His name twenty times, pray with His name, Perform miracles, etc.....If you do not do The Will of His Father, He will not Know you and you will not make it back to Heaven.

The question now is .....Do we know The Will of His Father??????????????
